PROJECT VESSEL ENGINEER

NES Fircroft are delighted to be partnering with a major EPCI contractor specialized in Marine & Offshore works who are looking for a Project Vessel Engineer to work on a FPSO , based in Montigny Le Bretonneux.

The position will operate on a contract basis for an initial 12-month duration for excellent potential to extend beyond as project work scopes develop. The schedule will be Mon – Fri. In return the individual will be provided with an excellent day rate.


OBJECT:
The requested service relates to the performance of the following services: PROJECT VESSEL ENGINEER

PLANNING :
Start of benefits: ASAP
Duration of benefits: 12 months


DESCRIPTION :
The activity of this service will focus on:

  • -Provide support to the POM for of all technical / operations aspects related to the installation (installation Schedule, logistics, engineering and method document review, follow-up of installation aids, etc…).
  • -Prepare the materials and services requisitions (technical specifications, SoW, MTO, TBE, etc)
  • -Participate and provide recommendations during the Risk Assessment;
  • -Perform missions onboard installation vessels and subcontractors yards and facilities during the load out campaigns (mobilization demobilization, load out).

 Skills :
  • -Have deep experience with offshore operations, ideally in deepwater activities.
  • -SAP system experience (highly appreciated).
  • -Ability to manage/ Interface with project discipline engineers / ASSET department as and when required.
  • -Management of major subcontracts

REQUIRED SKILLS :
To carry out this service, the Incumbent must provide the skills described below:
 
  • Language : Fluent in English, French. Other languages are a plus.
  • Experience : Oil & Gas industry backgroud, 10Y experience in
  • Maintenance & Operations / Contruction
  • Software : MS office tools. AMOS and SAP are welcome
  • Good communication skills, proactive.

Medical fitness certificate / BOSIET / Yellow fever / Seaman book.
Available for Onshore & Offshore missions
