Welding Engineer


NES Fircroft are delighted to be partnering with a major EPCI contractor specialized in Marine & Offshore works who are looking for a Welding Engineer to work on a FPSO, based in Montigny Le Bretonneux.

The position will operate on a contract basis for an initial 12-month duration for excellent potential to extend beyond as project work scopes develop. The schedule will be Mon – Fri. In return the individual will be provided with an excellent day rate.

DESCRIPTION :
The activity of this service will focus on: To do this, you will be required to:
  • Implement procedures applied to the various Projects,
  • Evaluate the specifications and specifications of the various customers,
  • Analyse technical offers in order to be able to select the best subcontractors,
  • Monitor and provide technical support to subcontractors when necessary,
  • Review the manufacturing procedures of subcontractors (welding book, NDT procedure,  etc.),
  • Resolve non-conformities,
  • Provide technical support for projects on construction sites,
  • Assist the teams on site during the qualification phases.



Skills :
To carry out this service, the Holder must bring the skills described below:
  • Welding Engineer
  • ESSA and/or IWE
  • English required
