Our client had a Danish team in close proximity to Hornsea 1, and wished to use their expertise for the manufacturing and on-site consultation of the offshore wind turbines for the second project phase.
The turbines for the wind farm were being fabricated in Singapore. This meant relocating the specialist team from Denmark to Singapore, during which the client would need full global mobility support for the team, including support with organising applicable visas and compliant contractor payroll.
Our Recruitment Solution
Providing superior service and ensuring legislation compliance is a key priority for our team. We worked closely with client’s HR team in Denmark to advise regarding local Singaporean regulations in relation to employment, payroll and tax. Our recruitment and assignment
support teams moved quickly to access, mobilise and deploy skilled personnel.
Global infrastructure
We assigned a dedicated Account Manager from our Singapore office to handle all contractor logistics. Our Singapore office is located in the heart of a fabrication hub with ample experience in staffing facilities with local and expatriate personnel.
Visa capability
Visa support for the efficient and seamless mobilisation of overseas personnel and travel organisation, without the contractor footing the initial bill. Our support included organising work pass exemptions and employment pass applications for contractors
Payroll services
Comprehensive in-country payroll, including managing payment regulations, tax reporting and
organising contractors’ social security contributions. Our service delivers tailored payslips, which show all leave accruals.
We provided full onboarding support for the workforce, including organising medicals and background screening. Overall, NES Fircroft facilitated the mobilisation of 10+ staff from Denmark to Singapore so that the project was delivered on time and on budget. The personnel we mobilised included electrical engineers, project directors and an engineering manager.
