Having won a major project in the UAE, our European EPC clients urgently needed to recruit a large team of solar specialists to begin work on a solar power plant site as soon as possible.
The project required wide skillsets, and the high experience levels needed for the project meant that the search for personnel would have to take place on an international scale.
Rapid mobilisation processes were also crucial to the success of the project. The client was unable to organise and obtain visas in the UAE themselves and as a result of our strong reputation in the region, sought the help of NES to ensure that the process of locating and mobilising staff ran as smoothly and quickly as possible.
Our Solution
Using our extensive talent pool networks and global support teams, NES was able to source and mobilise an entire team of people within the required timeframe, providing extensive, practical support to contractors throughout the duration of the project.
- Our assignment support teams are highly experienced in assisting contract workers and organising all of their logistics such as visas, work permits and travel needs at a fast pace, taking headaches away for both contractors and clients.
Our in-country staff have a working local knowledge of UAE culture and latest administrational processes to ensure that contractors are prepared for their roles. - International compliance is of paramount concern and at all times we
adhered to local laws and legislation.
Our local teams managed all payroll, were able to pay in the local currency and ensured that we set contractors up to comply with the Wages Protection System as required by UAE law. - When medical issues arose on site, we made sure that the individuals involved had access to all necessary care and guidance.
With exceptional support in place for the contractors, the client was able to focus on other areas of the project safe in the knowledge that NES could look after their staff needs.
The results of our support
Our quick and hassle free solutions enabled a costeffective means of business for our client to operate in the UAE without a local set up, and with the correct personnel in place the project went on to be successful.
